Tell us a few things about yourself. What does no one know about you?

I’ll keep it short and simple. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether we talk about walks or biking or just reading and relaxing. I also enjoy pretty much everything art-related, especially painting, I find it very enjoyable.

How did you get interested in programming? What is the most interesting project you have worked on?

I got into programming in high school, though we learned just some basic concepts during that time. Still, I found them very interesting and wanted to continue studying. Fortunately, I got to work on some pretty diverse projects in uni, nothing too complicated. One project I remember was an image processing one, I had to find light sources in dark photos and brighten them up accordingly to those sources. It was an interesting challenge on a new subject and I really enjoyed it.

What is your favorite thing about working for Programming Pool?

I’m really thankful for the warm welcome and all the help I got from the team. It made everything a lot less overwhelming and a lot more pleasant.

What/who inspires you?

I don’t think I have particular people in mind as much as a type of person. I like being surrounded by people who are passionate about their work, it keeps me motivated as well.

Any advice for young professionals looking to work in technology?

This field can be intimidating because of its constant changing, but it’s also full of fun challenges and resources, you’re bound to find projects that you find interesting. Of course, past that point it’s all up to you to keep improving, but that’s also part of the challenge
