MID-LEVEL .NET DEVELOPER – JOB

We are seeking a detail-oriented, passionate, and dedicated .NET Developer to join our team.

This is a hands-on role, requiring strong experience and comprehensive expertise in software design and development, specifically in .NET and SQL Server application development.

Responsibilities of a .NET Developer

• Build software in a team environment. Assist other team members with completion of tasks and provide good documentation of work assigned.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle including requirements gathering, estimation, development, QA assistance, and bug fixing, and deployment.
• Attend status meetings and provide detailed updates of assigned work and projected completion dates.
• Manage code base using Git.
• Develop and execute on client projects and requests. Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Perform analysis and design for medium-sized to large/complex development/maintenance projects.
• Develop and document application designs, analyze the impact on existing systems and provide alternatives if necessary.
• Determine the impact of proposed changes.
• Possess and apply advanced knowledge of technology principles, best practices, and procedures to the completion of complex software development assignments.
• Develop complex code and configuration data using secure coding practices.
• Ensure that all code, configuration data, and system documentation is accurate, complete, understandable, and adheres to Client standards.
• Address security vulnerabilities – Use tools to assure security; analyze outputs; recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews.
• Work with QA on test results, defect correction and script re-use.

Requirements

• The candidate must have at least three years with .NET tools technologies.
• Solid experience of Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• Application development including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, WebForms, AJAX, Rest APIs, Linq-to-SQL, SQL Server; SSRS and JQuery.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. Ability to easily communicate at all levels.
• Candidates will be required to follow the company’s architecture & coding standards and assist in the creation of documentation and test plans for new system development.
