"We first started our cooperation with Protel in the summer of 2006 when one of our joint clients, the German Hotel Chain, Arkona AG commissioned PPR to build a new MIS (Management Information System) for the Arkona Hotels and the A-ROSA Resorts.

During the course of the project we got to know the Protel team and were immediately excited about their hands on approach.

In the course of 2007 we had meetings at the head quarters of Protel in Dortmund (Germany), subsequently followed by a trip of a delegation from Protel who flew to Baia Mare (Romania) the head quarters of Programming-Pool Romania.

The delegation was lead by Susen Stanberger, Protel's Business Development Manager.
During the meetings it immediately became apparent that both companies shared the same ambitions, striving for perfection using the latest technologies and many possible synergies were discovered.

A natural step forward and consequence of these reciprocal feelings was the decision to start to integrate some of Programming-Pool Romania's high-end web applications into the Protel PMS's.

At this years ITB in Berlin (Hall Stand: 8 /103 Between 5.3.08 - 9.3.08), Protel and PPR will present some of these solutions, including Visual Survey Pro (customer satisfaction surveys triggered directly from the PMS (property management system) and IMS (The Management Information System) which manages budgeting, reporting and forecasting chain wide. We are excited and honored to be able take these first steps with a market leader like Protel"
