A software application specifically designed as a database containing historic snapshots of various operational system data, normally in an aggregated form which is used by data analysts and other end users for analyzing, reporting, tracking, and supporting strategic decisions.

Database
A structured collection of records or data that is stored in a computer system.

Dynamic Packaging
An application that has the ability to offer the customers either a distinct package or a package created during an interactive process (customers are empowered to make well-researched and personalized choices by matching multiple product types such as hotel reservations, leisure programs, car rental etc. and determine which combination suits them best).

Dynamic Pricing
A software application that allows the prices to be updated in real time according to the typeof customer or current market conditions.

What's in a word?

Keeping up to date with the latest terminology can be tricky at the best of times. With all the abbreviations and catch-phrases, new word concoctions and descriptors that have taken root in modern day parlance, maintaining a “Glossary of Terms” that keeps pace with technological developments can be a risky business!
